Medal Framing
We offer a bespoke medal framing service for all types of medals, including Military.
We realise that medals often have sentimental value, your medals will be handled respectfully, and with great care whilst they are with us. Our aim to to ensure they are preserved and displayed for many generations to come. We will discuss with you Conservation framing options to ensure your items are kept at their best within the frame.
During the consultation process we will discuss with you how you would like your medals to sit within the frame, whether you have any additional items you would like to be included alongside the medals, photographs, certificates, badges, hats etc. We will agree the layout that works best for the items, whilst maintaining symmetry where possible. We can also include an inscription detailing who the medal belonged to, or any other information you would like displayed about the items.
Once we have agreed the layout you would like, we will discuss with you the material choices. We have a range of deeper frames available which offer enough depth to allow the medals to be set back in the frame away from the glass. As well as a large selection of Mount boards in various textures and colors, the suede mounts have proven very popular for medal frames, as they add a little hint of opulence to the finished frame.
