Mount cutting / Mounting
We use mounts to create a different colour border to draw out a colour within your art or maybe use it to fit within a colour scheme in your décor. Single mounts offer a window effect to showcase your artwork, but you might prefer a double or even triple mount to create more depth to your piece. We also offer multi aperture mounts to showcase more then one item in your frame. Mounts are available in a rainbow of colours with either white, black or colour cores, as well as artisan and suede mounts.
We offer oversized mounting as well as conservation quality mount boards to help ensure your art is kept in perfect condition.
Our workshop is equipped with the exceptional Valiani, CNC mount cutting machine that can perform multiple tasks to create unique mount board cut outs. Our machine gives us greater options to create a finish that is tailored to your needs.
There are multiple ways that we can utilise a mount board to add extra detail, depth, colour and interest to your item. We can also offer layered mounts which are used to create depth within the frame, as well as adding an additional boarder to your item.
